Google Pixel expected to be the first smartphone to get the Android O update
Google Pixel is expected to get the first Android O update. The information was provided by a Tweet from Android Police’s David Ruddock “The official OTA to Android O for Pixel will likely drop in the first week of August. A bit earlier than Nougat last year.”
Google announced the update of Android in March this year, the name of the next version has not been confirmed yet and is known by its codename Android O. Along with the announcement, Google also released the factory images for the first developer preview of the upcoming update. It also released the beta version and developer preview of Android O for the developers and beta testers. Android O will Succeed Android Nougat, which was released in August 2016. Night light, Icon Shapes, Smart Text Selection, Quick Setting, Notification dots, Picture in a picture frame and Autofill are few of the highlights of the upcoming Android O.
